A new Earth
It has been said that the Earth we live on may have an expiration date that is closing in on us. When we found this out started to look for another Earth to live on that is habitable. We have found a Earth like planet that has been named Gliese 581g. It has a rocky place with an atmosphere, temperate regions and liquid water. There were other planets that are following that same star that the scientist thought were habitable, but we were wrong. This planet Gliese 581g may be the planet were our children grow up.

Crash fatalities down
Fewer children died in car crashes last year in the U.S. than the previous year. Even now parents are not putting their children in the booster seats accordind to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). In the past year motor deaths were the leading cause of death in 2009. An average of 4 children per day were killed in car crashes while 490 children were injured. “Make no mistake about it, child safety seats save lives,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. “Children who graduate too soon from their safety seats are at risk of serious injury."
A child who outgrows their booster seat are usually 4 years old and 40 pounds. Before the child should gradute to shoulder belts and age 8 they should keep only the thigh belt.

Canada becoming a global power
In the next 40 years a top U.S. geographer hypothesis's that Canad will come out as a world power. It is said that because of the climate driven transformation of global trade. Global warming is effecting many countries in a negative but others in a positive i.e. Canada and other "North Rimmed" countries. Arctic oil and gas deposits is going to help canapult Canada economy over the edge.

If this happens Canada may lose its old ways and become more like the United States in more ways.

The Gaming Industry
The gaming industry had its worst sales in the past four years during August 2009. It went down 10 percent at $819m. Since that period sales have gone down 8 percent lower, since 2008 sales are 14 percent. Everyone is blaming the week economy for the low sales but I think it is just the high prices of the gaming system for the drop in the sales. Everyone would buy a PS3 or a XBOX360 if the prices were low enough but these prices were too high
